Recently here in Bolivia we had one of the most important religious celebrations of the year. It is known to many as Holy Week which comes a couple of months after Carnival. It is a week where mostly the Catholic people reflect on their past sins and try to make up for those sins by religious acts. This time ends on what is known as good Friday where there are processions etc. This year we had a special activity showing an evangelistic film at the soccer court in our neighborhood. The people from the church arrived early to clean things up before the activity started. Along with the movie we served a special drink called Api and fried pastries that are filled with cheese. I am really proud of our people for all their hard work and participation to reach out to our community. We had a great turn out with over a hundred people present with a large part of them being visitors that had never been to our church. Please pray for us that we can faithfully reach out to our community with the gospel.
