First of all we want to thank all of you for your prayers and giving towards the land for our church here in Bolivia. We are truly amazed at God’s goodness and blessing in our lives and ministry here. Over the last two months $18,476.50 has been given towards this need and has gotten us well on our way to completely pay off the land. With these recent offerings that gets us down to right at $45,000 to have the land completely paid for which is huge when you think about how far we have come over the last few months. While we are over half way to our goal, we still have a long ways to go and it might seem like an insurmountable task before us. A task like this can really stretch your faith but we have a confidence that where there is a great challenge we know we have an even greater God. I believe that He is looking for some people that are willing to step out by faith and attempt something that only He can accomplish. I wanted to share with you just a few things that encourage us during times like this that might encourage you also. We know that;
1. God is Bigger
– Often when we face something that seems impossible or that there is no hope we might fall into the trap of thinking that nothing can be done. Even if we wouldn’t say it, maybe we act as if even God can’t do anything about it. Well, I am here to tell you that God is bigger than anything that you and I could ever face.
– Not only that, but we know that He is in control of everything that we face and has a purpose in it that is for our good.
– Although we can get discouraged and even frustrated, don’t lose hope because God knows exactly where you are.
2. God is Owner
– Many times in our lives it might seem like we just can’t seem to get ahead. Often, we face challenges and we don’t know how we are going to make it.
– There might be times that we would love to even do more for the Lord but it doesn’t seem possible. Well, it is in those moments that we can trust that God is the owner of everything around us.
– It might seem like we don’t have or that we can’t, but He does have and He can. All we lack is asking, trusting, and stepping out by faith.
3. God is in Charge
– In the ministry it is easy to get discouraged when things are not going the way you would like or you have a setback. It is easy to think, “I just can’t do this.”
– It is in those moments that I know and realize that I can’t, and that is the key. I realize that only He can do the work.
– Not only that, but I have the promise that it is His church and that not even the gates of Hell can prevail against it. I can rest that He will protect, provide, and build His church.
So as we face this great challenge, and our faith is stretched, we can rest in the Lord and trust that He is able to do abundantly above all that we ask or think. Please continue to pray for us and this need. If you would like to give an offering please send to:
