For me, Christmas is always a joyful time, celebrating the birth of our Savior and spending time with family and friends. I have so many great memories, from the music to decorating to obviously as a kid not being able to sleep anticipating the gifts that would be waiting me. In reality what comes to mind most when I think of Christmas is generosity, as God freely gave His son to die for us on the cross. I think it is that generosity that can be seen as people give to one another and especially to the Lord.

You might be asking why I am writing about Christmas and it is still November. Well depending on when you are reading this letter there are only six or seven weeks before Christmas is here and with it fast approaching we wanted to ask you to pray with us about a special opportunity coming up for our land project here in Bolivia. Right now we have right at $45,000 left to pay off our land and time is short as we only have until spring of this coming year to have it payed off. We would like to ask you to pray about giving a special Christmas offering towards our land to help us reach the half way point by the end of the year. That way we would only have a little more than $20,000 to pay off before the deadline. This would truly be a special gift not only for us but for the ministry here in Bolivia. Raising $20,000 in the next two months sound like a big challenge but we are trusting the Lord to continue to bless as He has until this point.
