Special Christmas Offering:
For me, Christmas is always a joyful time, celebrating the birth of our Savior and spending time with family and friends. I have so many great memories, from the music to decorating to obviously as a kid not being able to sleep anticipating the gifts that would be waiting me. In reality what comes to mind most when I think of Christmas is generosity, as God freely gave His son to die for us on the cross. I think it is that generosity that can be seen as people give to one another and especially to the Lord.
You might be asking why I am writing about Christmas and it is still November. Well depending on when you are reading this letter there are only six or seven weeks before Christmas is here and with it fast approaching we wanted to ask you to pray with us about a special opportunity coming up for our land project here in Bolivia. Right now we have right at $45,000 left to pay off our land and time is short as we only have until spring of this coming year to have it payed off. We would like to ask you to pray about giving a special Christmas offering towards our land to help us reach the half way point by the end of the year. That way we would only have a little more than $20,000 to pay off before the deadline. This would truly be a special gift not only for us but for the ministry here in Bolivia. Raising $20,000 in the next two months sound like a big challenge but we are trusting the Lord to continue to bless as He has until this point. If you would like to help, we asks you to do two things. Let us know by writing us at kwhite@goreachtheworld.org or calling at 336-499-2585 to let us know, and send the offering to;

Thank you so much for all you do for us.
Where are the Laborers?:
This past month we had our annual missions conference here at the church focusing on the great harvest and the need for laborers. As a missionary starting churches I realize the importance of missions and that a church understand it’s responsibility to reach the world. I was excited to have visiting us this year, Pastor Miguel Murrillo from Arequipa Peru. He has been in the ministry for more than twenty years, starting several churches and leading the Macedonia Baptist Bible College. We wanted to take advantage of him being here so we had him teach class during the day in the Bible College and then our services were at night.
On Saturday we had an international banquete where each person brought a different dish from other countries around the world. We had food from Peru, Japan, China, Mexico and others. This was the first international banquete that we have had since we started the church and everyone really enjoyed it.
On Sunday we collected our faith promise cards and in total had 2100 bolivianos promised which would be a little over $300. I am very grateful to Pastor Miguel for his time and the blessing that he was to the people of our church.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray that we can raise the remainder of the money we need to pay for our land.
2. Pray for our English classes that we are having in Quillacollo to bring people to church.
3. Pray for our services that we will be starting in Quillacollo on Nov. the 9th.
4. Pray for safety for the many missionaries working in dangerous places around the world.
