This week we have the privilege to go to the national pastors conference in Arequipa Peru. We left Cochabamba at 6:00 am on Monday morning (in my car) and drove for 14 hours across Bolivia and part of Peru. The trip went well with no major problems. We crossed the border in only 30 minutes (which is a miracle because customs and immigrations can be a pain) and headed for the city of Arequipa about 11:30 am. We got to the first main city in Peru where we ate lunch with a family member of Coco our co-laborer in Bolivia. Before leaving for the last part of our journey we began to hear a noise in the front left suspension of my car. What normally would have been a trip of about 4 hours turned into 6 hours because we drove slower for fear that the front steering would fail. We arrived in Arequipa at around 9:00 pm. Today we went to have the front end checked out on my car. After taking off the tire the mechanic pulled out a small rock and said that should fix it. We have not heard the noise sense then. 🙂 Pray for good services as the conference starts tonight.
