The week we left Bolivia was the last day our church had services in the rented building we had been in for several years. From that next Sunday on, they have been having services on the new land and building the church building in the process. I have been amazed at the progress they have made over the last few weeks and how the church has really come together to help and do their part. Some have given cement, others bricks, many have given money to help move the construction forward. As you can see in the pictures they have finished the metal structure and put the metal on the roof to shield from the sun and rain. They have also put up walls to help with the wind and to help the place look a little more like a church. Their biggest challenge now is the floor, which will have to be built up with about two feet of dirt before the cement can be poured. Then the bathrooms will need to be built and an office and nursery from there. For the long term they will be building classrooms in the back and a parsonage on the second floor. Please be in prayer for the church as they work little by little to reach their goal of having a place to reach and teach people the word of God.
