This past Friday through Sunday we had our second annual mission’s conference. Our special speaker was missionary Felipe Choquehuanca. He was a pastor in Arequipa Peru for more than 10 years and now has surrendered to be a missionary in Africa. He is now raising his support and we were the first church that he visited. It was truly a great conference with such a sweet spirit. We had great attendance and many people visiting the church that hadn’t been in some time. The young people of the church gathered their money and bought gifts for all of brother Felipe’s family. This coming Sunday we are going to be giving out Faith Promise Cards to encourage everyone to participate in missions. Lord willing we will be able to begin supporting one or even two missionaries.
