The Lord’s Blessing Here:
We are praising the Lord once again for His goodness and blessings on us and the ministry in Bolivia. I was able to speak with the bank this past month and we now have two months to be able to pay off the remainder for our land in Bolivia. The Lord has blessed and we are getting closer each time and since our last prayer letter we have had several special offerings given. We had $3000 given and 2 $100 gifts given from individuals. Then we had several offerings given by churches, both supporters and new churches, for a total of $3,300. With all these offerings that brings us all the way down to right at $13,500 left. With this, I feel like we can now finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are trusting the Lord to bring the remainder of what is left by the deadline by the end of November. The Lord’s Blessing There:
We want to thank you for praying for the churches in Bolivia, and the men that are leading them in our absence. The Lord has continued to bless them as they move forward with the ministry. The church in Cochabamba just celebrated their ninth anniversary this past month. It is hard to believe that it has been nine years since we started the church and to see how the Lord has blessed them. During the anniversary service, testimonies were given from many of the people as they shared how God has changed their lives since they started attending. A special cake was made and a group photo was taken to celebrate at the end. The church has had several new families visiting and also a new student in the Bible college. The church in Quillacollo has been having many visitors from special activities. They celebrated friendship and student day with more than 30 children, many of which heard the gospel for the first time. The church has also started a special prayer meeting and baking class on Saturdays. It is a great blessing to see how the people have a heart to work together to reach others for the Lord.
The Lord’s Blessing Everywhere:
This past month was probably the busiest traveling month that we have ever had; even from when we were on deputation. We left out on Sept. the 9th and didn’t return home until Oct the 5th ,almost 4 weeks later. Our family had some wonderful meetings being in 4 different mission’s conferences and 3 individual meetings. At the end of our trip we came home with many wonderful memories, new friends, and a car so full there almost wasn’t room to sit. I just want to say thank you to all the churches and all that was provided for us during this time. It was a true blessing to see how the Lord is working and that there are churches that still have a passion to reach the world with the gospel.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for us as we will be traveling back to Bolivia next month for Pablo and Evelyn’s wedding.
2. Pray that our car in Bolivia will sell to help pay off the land.
3. Pray for us as we continue to travel visiting churches.
4. Pray for the construction of our new church building as the rainy season will begin soon.
