One Month and Counting:
We are now down to our last month to finish paying off what we owe on our land in Bolivia. This past month we had two individual offerings giving for a total of $1,300. With that it brings us to just over $12,000 left to reach our goal. By the time you read this we will have less than one month before the deadline so we would like to ask you to pray fervently for this great need. At this time we are seeking to sell our ministry vehicle in Bolivia to help with this need. If you would like to help us reach this goal, please let me know by writing to kwhite@goreachtheworld.org and send to:

How is Your Garden?:
As fall quickly approaches I have seen a common occurrence as we travel from meeting to meeting. Most people have let their gardens go and the plants are beginning to wither and die. One of the reasons that this happens is because of the weather, but it also happens because most people stop picking the vegetables that are being produced. This makes me think a lot about one of the most convicting passages in the Bible to me. Matthew 9:36-38 tells us of the response of Jesus as he traveled from village to village and saw the condition of the people. He was moved with compassion and proclaimed that the harvest is truly plenteous and ready but there aren’t laborers to go into the fields and harvest it. All across Bolivia there are boys, girls, men and women that have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel. The reason that they have not heard is because there is no one to go and share it with them. The harvest is truly plenteous and ripe, but just as in Matthew 9 the problem is the same, a lack of laborers. Jesus in this passage calls each of us to pray for laborers to go out into this harvest and reap it for His honor and glory. This is one of my prayers on a daily basis, that the Lord would raise up men and women to help reach these people that so desperately need to hear. We would like to ask you to pray for laborers, but maybe more specific than that, we would like to ask you to pray for laborers to Bolivia.
The Walls are Going Up:
We praise the Lord for how He continues to bless the churches in Bolivia and how they are moving forward. Someone in the church there recently gave a special offering for the construction, and they are now finishing one side of the walls for the church. This is important because the rainy season will be starting soon and it will make it very difficult to have services with out them. The church still lacks a little to be able to finish the other walls and then the biggest need will be the floors. They will have to bring in several large loads of dirt to build up the foundation and then pour the cement floor on top. After that, they will have to build the bathrooms and rooms for classes. We are praying that by the summer of next year most of this first stage will be done so the church can have services and classes as normal.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for us as we will be traveling back to Bolivia next month for Pablo and Evelyn’s wedding.
2. Pray that laborers will be sent to Bolivia and the world.
3. Pray that we will be able to pay off our land this month.
4. Pray for the construction of our new church building as the rainy season will begin soon.
