We praise the Lord for how the construction is coming along at our first church here in Bolivia. They still have a long ways to go, but praise the Lord, they are moving closer each day to the goal. While you might think that there is not much that you could do to help, being so far away, I would like to say that there is an opportunity coming soon where you could have a personal part in helping build the church. The first week of May we have a group that is coming to help with the construction, including a couple of friends that have worked in construction for many years, that will be here for a week or maybe a little more. We would like to personally invite you to come and be part and help us build the church. Here are several ways that you can be part;
“PRAY” that everything will come together and much can be accomplished during this week. Pray that the Lord will add to the group and provide everything necessary to get it done.
“COME” if you have any abilities in construction or could even help with the labor. We have three main projects that we want to work on and hope to get as far a long as possible on all three. We are going to be starting with the ceiling. It will be a drop ceiling hung by wires with sheet rock tiles, the next project will be the walls that will be sheet rock attached to metal framing, then if there is time, we would like to work on the floor that will be ceramic tile laid on cement. If you could help in any of these areas, please let us know.
“GIVE” While the labor is free the materials for the construction will have to be bought. If we are able to work on the roof, walls and the floor the materials will cost around $4000. Any help you could give would be a great blessing.
