Wedding Bells:
One of the greatest joys in life is finding the person that the Lord gives you as your life’s mate. This is even more wonderful when you find someone that has the same heart and wants to serve the Lord together with you. Here in the ministry we have always prayed that the Lord would give each of the pastors the right person that they could marry and serve with. This past month those prayers were answered and we were able to participate in the wedding of pastor Isaac and Paula. Paula came here to Bolivia to help in the homeschool ministry and began to help at our first church. Little did we know then, that the Lord had a plan for both of them and would put them together. We started marriage counseling several weeks before studying a book called “What were you Expecting”. I talked about how many marriage problems come because we have incorrect expectations about marriage and what we expect our spouse to be. On December 1st we had the wedding at a beautiful event center here out in the country with both Isaac and Paula’s family. It was a beautiful time and joy for us to see both of them so happy and see how the Lord was able to put two people together that are perfect for each other.
Exciting News:
In our last prayer letter we wrote about Andrew, our intern that was here, leaving to return to the US. Andrew was here for six months were he studied language and ministry. Upon completion of his internship, he was able to graduate from the Our Generation Training Center and began his ministry. The first big step in starting his ministry was to decide where the Lord wanted him to be a missionary. Well we are excited to announce that he has surrendered to be a missionary to Bolivia. During his time here the Lord really burdened his heart for the people and the need. He has now started deputation and is scheduling meetings to raise his support. The Lord is really blessing him and he has many meetings scheduled through the middle of next year. We are very excited about having co laborers to work with and help us in the ministry here. We would like to ask you to pray for him as he fills his calendar and if you would like to have him come and present the ministry you can contact him at 706-371-1550 or write him at awilder1633@gmail.com.
Thank You:
We would like to thank each and every one of you for your faithful prayers and support. It really means so much to us and is what allows us to do what the Lord wants us to do. We would also like to thank you for the special offerings that were given for Christmas, for our ministry. This was a huge blessing to us because at Christmas there are many extra expenses like giving Christmas bonuses to those that work with us. This is part of the law here in Bolivia but we do it more because we like to share the blessings that the Lord gives us with others. Once again, thank you for all that you do for us and the ministry here.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for Andrew as he begins to raise his support as a missionary.
2. Please pray for our youth camp that we have this year.
3. Pray for our country as there is much conflict over laws the government is passing.
4. Pray for our church this year as we seek to reach out into our community.
