He’s done it Again
I am just overwhelmed with the goodness of our God and the generosity of His people. Since we last wrote we have received a gift for $10,000 from a supporting church and then two gifts for $1000 ($2,000 total), one gift for $500 and one for $200. That brings our total now to right at $37,000 to purchase the land. That means we only have just a little more than $20,000 left to be able to completely pay for the land and help the church get started on the property. We are praying that we can raise the remainder of that money now, so that we don’t have to take out a loan to finishing paying. Also with the situation that we have been facing in Bolivia, for the past few weeks, we have been on hold with finalizing the purchase, but hope to have everything ready as soon as things return to normal. If you would like to help us with the remainder of the $20,000 that we need, please let us know and send to;

Bolivia in Chaos:
As some of you might have heard, Bolivia has been going through a time of much turmoil. We had our elections on the 20th of October and everything looked normal, and it seemed as if the elections would go to a second run off (which is normal here) and with that the opposition to the current president would most likely win. In the last few minutes the results that were being shown disappeared for almost ten minutes and when they reappeared again the current president was much farther ahead and won the election by a tenth of a point. With that the people of Bolivia were in an uproar and began planing a nationwide strike blocking intersections throughout the city. For almost three weeks we have barley been able to leave our house and have had to walk to places like the grocery store. Meat has been scarce but thankfully we have been able to keep stocked up. Well yesterday (10th of Nov) president Evo Morales and the vice president resigned from office because not only the people but also the police and army had turned their back on the government. Things will probably not clear up for a few more days but we are praying for a peaceful process in the transition to a new president and that it will be for the benefit of the country and the advancement of the gospel. Please pray for us and Bolivia during this time.
The Church Continues:
With the strikes that we have had, it has made it difficult to be able to have services since we live a good distance from the church and some of the people also. The first Sunday we decided to be creative and have a facebook live message for our people. Then on Wednesday we had services in several homes that were in different areas where the people could walk to. Then the second Sunday we walked forty-five minutes each way to be able to assemble together. In all we have been praying one for another and for our country that the Lord’s will be done.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for the person that will be the next president of Bolivia.
2. Pray for peace and that things can return to normal in the streets.
3. Pray for the church here that this will result in the furtherance of the gospel.
4. Pray for protection for our family against many dangers around us.
