Praise to the Lord:
We have much that we can praise the Lord for during this past month.
We Have Arrived:
First, after more than a month of waiting, we were able to get tickets to fly back to the US to start our furlough. After the quarantine was extended and the borders maintained closed, the first of June, the Bolivian airline planned a series of repatriation flights and we were able fly on June 16th and arrived with no difficulties. We are now working to get settled, and moved into the place where we will be staying while here this year. That being said, if you would like for us to visit with you while we are on furlough, please let us know by emailing (ktwbmw73@gmail.com) or calling 336-499-2585 so that we can get a date on the calendar.
Our Pastor is getting Better:
For over twenty one days, our pastor, Austin Gardner, was intubated because of complications from having Covid-19. The doctors didn’t think that he was going to make it, but hundreds of people were fasting and praying around the world and the Lord saw fit to allow him to survive, and he is now at home recovering and getting stronger every day. I know the Lord has a great purpose for his life, and for the life of each one of us. May we live every day as if it were our last.
Prayers to the Lord :
We would also like to ask you to pray for several important requests that we have.
The People of Bolivia:
Since we left, the situation in Bolivia has gotten continually worse and their health system is on the brink of collapse. People who have the virus are being turned away because there are no beds or respirators available until someone either gets better or dies. We just had a dear elderly lady in our church in Cochabamba die because no hospital would see her. They are on strict quarantine at this time, hoping to slow the increase but there doesn’t seem to be any relief in sight for the near future.
The Pastor in Bolivia:
Since they have been on quarantine in Bolivia for several months now, and have not been allowed to have service, the offerings at the churches have been almost non existent. The result is that there has not been enough money to pay the pastors salaries or help out with any needs of the people in the church. We have been trying to help some but if you could pray for them and if you would like to help during this time with an offering, it would help make sure they can put food on their tables and supply the needs for their families.
The Preparation of Missionaries:
We would also like to ask you to pray for a great need for the Center for World Evangelism. We are currently in the process of buying land where many missionaries will be trained and sent out around the world, taking the gospel. With a little more than $100,000 left to pay for the first phase, there is only 25 days left. If you would help us reach this goal please, go to; worldevangelismcenter.org/give.
