The area where we helped our second church purchase land is an area of great darkness. They are steeped in religion and there is no light of the gospel shinning there. Well that is beginning to change because the church recently had a special work day where they cut down the weeds and afterwards had service under a makeshift awning. This was the first time that the gospel was preached at that location but Lord willing it will not be the last. They are currently working to get their blueprints approved so that they can start building as soon as possible. The first step will be to build a perimeter wall that will mark the boarders of the property. Then they will start with the structure that will be the main auditorium. At that time they will be able to have regular services from that point on. That means that the light of the gospel will begin to shine showing wayward sinners where they can find salvation and refuge. One of the most exciting things about this first meeting that they had was the amount of people who came to help. Even though it is a good distance from where the church was originally, most of the people are excited about having a place of their own and reaching the people there with the gospel. Would you pray for Pastor Pablo, his family and the people of the church, that they can get their basic structure done and begin to have services, shinning a light in this dark area?
