Here in Bolivia we have what is called Día del Peatón or Pedestrian Day where no vehicles are allowed on the road. This makes things a little difficult to have service because everyone has to walk to the church. Considering we live probably an hour and a half walk to the new church, opted for a Saturday night service instead. The goal in this was not only to not have to walk to church but to be able to invite people from the English class to stay for the service. We had our English classes at 6:00pm and the church service right after at 7:00pm. We also announced in English class that we were going to have pizza after the service. To our surprise we had over thirty in the service and about fifteen or so of them were new visitors from the English class that didn’t come last Sunday. Along with that, we had several that told us that they had been looking for a church and were glad we were there. We are now going to be following up with many of them to see what next step they need to take in their spiritual lives. Please pray for there visitors that they can become part of this new church.
