Many times Holidays can be interesting times for missionaries. Especially living south of the Equator. Thanksgiving is not a holiday that is very common here in Bolivia and most people have no idea what you are talking about if you mention it. We are fortunate enough to be able to get frozen Turkey here even though it is almost three times what it would cost in the states. Also the weather is not exactly Thanksgiving weather getting up in the 80’s during the day. Even though there are differences we definitely have much to be thankful for. The Lord has blessed us greatly here in the last three and a half years. He has given us a wonderful church, family and friends to share with. Everyone here including Titus enjoyed the excess of food that always comes with Thanksgiving as you can see in the pictures below.
