That was our day today at church. It was packed with action and the Lord gave us a great day. We started out this morning with a new series called “Spiritual Warfare”. For the occasion I borrowed the full military uniform and preached “There’s a battle to be won”. As Paul said to Timothy “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith” the goal is that we might be able to say the same when we have finished our fight. We had a great crowd with close to 100 in attendance.
At the end of the service and also after tonight’s service we had baptisms. In the morning there was one person that was baptized and four that were baptized tonight. It was great to see them take this step of obedience.
After the baptism tonight we had the graduation of our first Christian Development class. We had about 19 that finished the course and received their certificates. This is just the first of four classes that we hope to teach to help our people grow and be prepared to serve the Lord.
