We would like to ask you to pray for Pastor Lorenzo Laura and his family, especially his wife. They are doing a great job working with us in the northern part of Bolivia. They work in the city of Cobija, a city of close to 50,000 people. Pastor Lorenzo wrote me recently to ask that we pray for his wife. She recently had a very bad ear infection that left her ear drum perforated. The problem has continued worsening and if she doesn’t have an operation soon she could loose her hearing. After checking several options it looks like the most feasible and economical is for them to travel to the city of Arequipa Peru to have the operation. In total it is going to cost around $800 for them to travel and the procedure. Please pray first of all that the Lord will help help her condition to improve and also that they will be able to obtain the funds necessary to get the medical attention she needs.
