It was the first week of September, four years ago, that we began meeting in a rented building with my family and the couple that was helping us. The began to bless from the very beginning seeing 30 and 40 coming to the service right from the start. We also began to see people getting saved and growing as we meet together with them in discipleship. Fast forward four years and many things have happened. We are now in a larger building have children’s ministries and our Bible Institute where men and women are training for the ministry. This past month the church had a special conference to celebrate their fourth anniversary starting on Friday and ending on Sunday. As the special speaker we had pastor Juan Pacheco from the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Peru. Along with the normal services they were able to have special classes for the ladies and men. A group from the church decided that they wanted to get the building ready for the conference so they were working night and day the week before putting in a drop ceiling, which was a roof made of thin plywood and hung from the existing roof. This helped tremendously with the heat that came from the normal metal roof that was there. Add some fresh paint and the place looked great. It really gave the church a new look as you can see in the pictures below. We praise the Lord for these four years that He has given and pray that we will be able to write in four more years of the many blessing and miracles that God has done.
