The first week of October we made a surprise visit to the church there in Bolivia. We arranged everything so that no one would know and arrived on Wednesday afternoon. We came in the side door at the church right as the preaching was to start. you should have seen the peoples faces. It was priceless. We were only there from Wednesday night until Sunday night so it was a quick trip but I think a fruitful one. We were able to meet with many of the people and encourage them and be in some of the activities that was going on. Beth was able to be there for a baby shower of one of the ladies at the church and I was able to go play soccer. It had been a while, and playing at over eight thousand feet elevation lets just say I didn’t do too bad. 🙂 We were also able to greet a new addition to the ministry brother Jaime Benitez. He is from Colombia and has been studying in Peru for the last four years. Pastor Christhian returned to Peru and brother Jaime was able to come over and take his place. Jaime will be there with his wife and two children. We ask that you pray with us about the extra expenses that they will have while working there in Bolivia. Although it was a very short trip, it was a blessing to spend some time with the church and see how many of them have been growing in the Lord and taking responsibility for the ministry. Please continue to pray for the church and leaders.
